Residents of a multi-unit residential building in Little River have been evacuated as a seawall has collapsed.
The incident happened at 12:42 p.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Coquina Harbour Drive, according to an Horry County Fire Rescue post.
The building currently has been deemed unsafe by the Horry County Government Code Enforcement, which required the evacuations of nine units., the post said. Seven residents are currently displaced. The area has received heavy rain and high tides the last few days.
