As a longtime Gwinnett resident and an area physician, Dr. Khaja Ahmed understands the value of consistency in healthcare. After more than two decades of practicing in Georgia, he is now joining Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Dacula to continue caring for people where he lives, works and raised his family.
Dr. Ahmed’s path to medicine started started taking part in science fairs as a student in Bangladesh. That curiosity grew to take him through medical school at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College in Bangladesh and then through family medicine residencies at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, New York, and Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, Pennsylvania – all before settling in Georgia.
Dr. Ahmed has since treated families from Columbus to Decatur, and Augusta to Alpharetta, making sure all of their health needs were met. He’s been a consistent volunteer at local charity care clinics along the way, especially in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties…
