MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Word Church will host a free donation event for college students this Sunday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at 3852 Park Avenue.
The event will distribute hygiene products, food, snacks, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies to help students facing financial challenges.
“As someone who was once a college student from a family that didn’t have a lot, I understand how hard it can be to stretch every dollar,” the organizer said. “That’s why our ministry is committed to helping lighten the load.”…
