Florida’s first sign of winter arrives as snow risk grows in the Sunshine State

Florida is set to experience a cold front, with cooler and drier conditions reaching the usually sunny state by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, the Florida Panhandle area will become “sandwiched” between a developing coastal low from the east and a strengthening ridge of high pressure to the west.

Wintery weather will mean weekend highs in some regions in the 70s and 80s and lows in the mid-to-low 50s. While temperatures will creep up by next week, this is a sign that the changing season is starting to bring colder weather…
