Iberville Sheriff Brett Stassi said his son has shown progress following two surgeries he underwear after being critically wounded in a shooting Oct. 6 at the Iberville Parish Courthouse.
Doctors removed Det. Brett Stassi Jr. from the ventilator Oct. 9 for the first time since the shooting.
