The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will conduct fall stocking of rainbow trout in Norfolk this week. Appearing on the Morning News on WJAG with Jeffery Stefen, Game and Parks Fish and Wildlife District Manager Jeff Schuckman said the trout being released are bigger and better than previous years.
“The guys at Grove and our other hatcheries Calamus and Rock Creek are raising bigger trout now,” Schuckman said. “Bigger, better in a lot of instances. People wanted some bigger trout and we are stocking bonified 12 to 13 inches and some may exceed that. And these are plumb nice looking rainbows…
