(WIFR) – After a cloudy start to our morning, it has been a very pleasant afternoon across the stateline with sunshine returning this afternoon along with highs in the low 70s.
Heading into tonight, clouds are expected to return overhead as an upper level disturbance makes it’s way through. This could generate a few showers, but a dry lower part of the atmosphere will really limit how much actually reaches the ground. If we do see rain reach the ground, it will likely be only a few sprinkles, not amounting to much. Temperatures won’t drop too much this evening as lows will only dip into the mid-50s.
The warm start to our Monday will let temperatures rise into the mid-70s by the afternoon even with mostly cloudy conditions.
