Springfield looking to fill Board of Public Utilities vacancy

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The City of Springfield is looking for qualified candidates to fill a vacancy for the Board of Public Utilities.

The City says candidates must have lived in Springfield for at least two years and have business or professional experience. Whoever is appointed to the vacancy will serve a three-year term, with one potential reappointment to the Board considered by City Council.

Interviews will take place during the Committee of the Whole meeting on Oct. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Applicants must be available for interviews at this time…
