SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said they arrested a man who murdered his ex-girlfriend Sunday.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said officers went to the 1700 block of Imperial Dr. in Silver Spring after they received a call about gunfire in the area.
When they arrived, they found Monique Charles, 47, of Brooklyn, N.Y. had been shot. She died there.
