Curly-tailed wanderer charms officers; Salem community asked to help pig find his way home

SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — Salem Police are looking for the owner of a wayward pig and are asking for your help.

“Just after 1:00 a.m. on Friday, our graveyard patrol officers made an unexpected new friend near Hammond Elementary – a sweet, domesticated pig trotting along like he owned the night,” Salem Police posted on Facebook.

Officers tried to locate the owner but were not successful. They are asking for the public’s help to get the “beloved porky buddy” to his home…
