2 MTA buses crash in Queens, 19 injured

Nineteen people were hurt when two MTA buses crashed in Flushing, Queens Monday morning.

It’s not yet known if the accident is weather-related, but it happened during the stormy commute at around 8:30 a.m.

The accident involved two Q27 buses, with one rear-ending the other near Sanford Avenue and Bowne Street.

The two buses were white and blue. The blue was was hit by the white one in the left rear corner, shoving it forward Video from the scene shows one of the buses slam into the rear of the bus in front of it, pushing it forward almost an entire bus length. The blue bus suffered damage to its left rear, and and the white bus kept on going, diverting into the oncoming traffic lane…
