ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — Mosquito fogging operations are set to take place in Escambia County.
According to a release, the Mosquito Control Division will be operating on Monday, Oct. 13, from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Spray areas include:
#31A: Beulah
- North: West Nine Mile Road
- South: Hurst Hammock Road
- East: Mobile Highway
- West: Western Highway
#32 East: Beulah
- North: Frank Reeder Road
- South: Mobile Highway
- East: Eleven Mile Creek
- West: Beulah Road
#33A North Bellview
- North: Interstate 10
- South: Longleaf Drive
- East: Wymart Road
- West: Eleven Mile Creek
Surveillance is performed both before and after fogging missions in order to make sure they are necessary in the area. Dry ice-baited light traps, landing rate counts, and service requests received from the public inform the MCD of when the fogging is needed…
