PENSACOLA, Fla. — Amy Hornick teaches one of those subjects where you might expect to find very few students but her classrooms are packed.

“I love working with young people,” Hornick said. “I like teaching Latin because I get to work with the same students for four years sometimes and really get to know them and see them grow and change. They grow up in my classroom.”…
