LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and police departments across Lafayette Parish are joining forces to support Faith House.
Lafayette Police Department, along with departments in Youngsville, Broussard, and Carencro, are collecting donations of paper goods. All items collected will benefit Faith House, Acadiana’s domestic violence shelter for women and children.
“Toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, napkins, plastic forks, those things that they need to survive to keep the shelter going and operating for our survivors that are in the shelter and stuff.
