LUBBOCK, Texas — With prices going up on food, gas and clothing people are looking for more of creative way of saving a couple of dollars. An alternative that is making it’s way into the Hub City is the boom of reselling of vintage clothing. Multiple Texas Tech University students saw an opportunity to start their own retail store while studying at campus.
Out of Date Vintage is owned by a Luke, a 20 year old student at Texas Tech University studying Business. He has grown his business over 3 years to announce his Grand Opening of his store across from campus off of Glenna Goodacre Bvld., where he currently resales designer and name brand clothing and shoes. He enjoys in sharing timeless and retro pieces of clothing with people who appreciate them as much as him.

Projects Throwback is organized by Alexander Cabrera, a current senior at Tech Tech studying Marketing. He has build a way to connect the resellers of vintage clothes and other small business in Lubbock. Alexander said, “The community in Lubbock is very diverse which brings different kind of vendors with in the thrifting community. Everyone has something unique to themselves that sets them apart for each other like selling specially sports, Texas Tech, designer or street wear clothing.”…
