For the second time in school history, three students were crowned the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s homecoming royalty. Student votes were counted and led to the rare occasion of two queens.
Caden Connelly, a senior fisheries and wildlife major from Lincoln; Ava Hollingsworth, a senior accounting, finance and management major from Omaha; and Claire Kelly, a senior elementary education major from Grand Island, Nebraska, were crowned royalty on Oct. 4. Their names were announced on the field at Memorial Stadium during halftime at the Nebraska vs. Michigan State football game.
