The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner of an urn discovered along the roadside, which could potentially contain the ashes of a young child.
According to a Facebook post on Friday, October 10, the sheriff’s office said a resident reported that they had seen something “odd” on the side of a country road. The sheriff’s office inspected the object and determined it was an urn with a label that reads, “Boy June 08, 2004.” The county seat is the city of Bandera, which about 54 miles northwest of San Antonio. Authorities have not shared more information about the urn.
