School bus driver found at fault for Las Vegas crash that killed 12-year-old, report says

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — According to a report, the school bus driver involved in a Las Vegas collision that killed a 12-year-old girl has been found at fault.

Las Vegas Metro Police say the crash happened Oct. 6 before 3:30 p.m. at Bradley Road and West Tropical Parkway. It was later revealed that Haylee Ryan was riding a bicycle when a school bus collided with her. A second vehicle, a Chevy Tahoe, was also involved. Police say the front corner of the school bus struck the left handlebar of the bike, causing the right handle to crash into a Tahoe that was parked in a bike lane.

The incident report says Ryan passed the Tahoe on the left, and the school bus driver did not give space to her. Police say the driver continued driving westbound as the rear tires hit the girl…
