WAYNESBORO, Va. (WHSV) – A public forum was held on Monday addressing youth homelessness at Kate Collins Middle School.
The event was hosted by Building Bridges for the Greater Good, a community organization serving Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County.
Dr. Ryan Barber, Assistant Superintendent of Waynesboro Public Schools said during the forum, “… As of today we have 52 students who are identified as ‘unhoused’, living in a shelter, living in motels ….”…
