‘Dehydrated’ Snake Rescued From Hood Of Car In Florida

Police in Florida helped rescue a “dehydrated” snake that was found curled up on a car hood over the weekend, officials said.

The Clearwater Police Department said Sgt. Hinkebein and Officer Roy on Sunday carried out “an unusual catch of a slithery suspect” Sunday after they were called to the 1300 block of Franklin Street for a report of a snake “camped out” on the hood of a car.

The snake, which was more than five feet long, “appeared to be dehydrated,” police said…
