MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Alabama Forestry Commission is working to contain a brush fire that broke out near the International Paper Mill in Prattville Monday, according to the Prattville Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known, but Prattville Fire said multiple county fire departments, along with Autauga County Rescue were on the scene working to contain it.
Officials also said people in the area should expect to see a large amount of smoke for the next several hours…
