Furry Friends: Starship will abduct your heart!

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—Each week, WFXR News highlights adoptable pets filling up animal shelters across Southwest and Central Virginia.

On Tuesday, October 14, Julie Rickmond with the Roanoke Valley SPCA brought Starship to the WFXR News studio.

Starship is a friendly and handsome three-year-old male. He enjoys playing with his toys, eating treats, and meeting new people. Just like his namesake, Starship loves to zoom around!

Furry Friends: Dino looking for his forever home

He would love to find an active family that can run and play alongside him. While Starship weighs about 65 pounds, he thinks he’s a small lapdog. Due to his energetic nature, potential adopters should consider his size when he’s around elderly people and small children.

Starship is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. This happy boy is ready to get out of the shelter and into a forever home!
