SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — West Savannah is about to get a major makeover. After years of planning and delays, city leaders have officially adopted the Canal District Master Plan. The bold,120-page vision is to reshape the area around the Enmarket Arena.
The Savannah City Council unanimously approved the Canal District Master Plan last week, which unlocks 19 projects all aimed at reshaping the city’s west side. First on the list: a project over $8 million in investment to stabilize and repurpose this historic Waterworks building that’s next to the Enmarket Arena.
