RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia raised filmmaker, James Mottern, is set to screen his new documentary at Richmond’s Byrd Theatre this coming Monday.
The documentary, “A Beast Touch the Mountain,” follows a group of Appalachian women in Bent Mountain, Va. as they fight to protect their land and way of life away from “a greedy and corrupt” fossil fuel pipeline.
