LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) — Body found in ditch in the area of Trousdale Road in Westlake identified and alleged suspect arrested is from Lafayette, deputies said.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were dispatched in reference to a woman’s body found in a ditch yesterday morning and later identified the victim as as Lawanna J. Lewis, 62, of Lake Charles.
The initial investigation revealed she suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head, deputies said. During the investigation, detectives learned the victim was a Lyft driver who had been working that day with the location of her car was unknown…
