AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a ground stop for some flights arriving at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport after previously issuing a ground delay due to staffing Monday.
While the ground delay was set to end at 9 p.m., the FAA also added the ground stop and became active from 8:01 p.m. and is expected to last until 9:15 p.m.

“Probability of extension is medium (30-60%),” the FAA said on its website.
