Stealing and messing with mail are fairly common crimes, so people choose to have cameras and alarms to prevent them. However, there are not enough security systems for every type of criminal. For example, a person in Texas caught a porch pirate who stole their DoorDash order, but despite having evidence, they can’t do anything to make the responsible opossum pay. Unfortunately, the police can’t do anything about it, but it seems that animal control won’t be able to either.
