ST. LOUIS – Embattled St. Louis Sheriff Alfred Montgomery has been remanded into custody after an evidentiary hearing Tuesday over federal charges.
Montgomery is facing federal indictments for four counts of witness retaliation, one count of witness tampering, one count of deprivation of rights under color of law. He has previously pleaded not guilty to all charges.
