MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A verbal altercation led to a shooting Monday evening in Mobile, according to a Mobile Police Department news release.
At about 8 p.m. Monday, officers were called to the 2000 block of Holmes Drive in reference to a shooting.

When officers arrived, a woman told them she had come home to find people she knew sitting outside her home. A verbal altercation began, and then escalated. Everyone went back to their cars, but as the subjects were leaving, they shot into the woman’s car.
No one was hit and the investigation remains active…
