Former Massachusetts Gov. and Utah Sen. Mitt Romney (R) said he’s heartbroken after his sister-in-law was found dead in a parking garage in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Friday.
“Our family is heartbroken by the loss of Carrie, who brought warmth and love to all our lives,” Romney said in a statement obtained by People magazine. “We ask for privacy during this difficult time.”
At around 9 p.m. on Friday, homicide investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department were called to the 24000 block of Town Center Drive in Santa Clarita for a death investigation, according to a sheriffs department advisory.
