ST. LOUIS — The off-duty St. Louis police officer who crashed into a scooter driver on Oct. 1 allegedly refused a breathalyzer and was arrested at the scene of the crash, according to newly obtained documents.
The Missouri Department of Revenue allegedly started the process of revoking Officer Chris Murray’s license for refusing to take the chemical test for intoxication after he was arrested at the crash, according to court documents obtained by 5 On Your Side. Missouri law mandates that anyone who refuses an alcohol or drug test during a traffic stop have their license revoked for a year.
Murray has since filed a legal challenge against the revocation, denying that he refused to take the test. The Circuit Court of St. Louis has since paused Murray’s license revocation. Murray’s next court date is set for Nov. 12…
