SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department partnered with Crosslines for a volunteer project on Monday.
SPD officers joined community members helping out at the Crosslines children’s closet and pantry. Volunteers sorted clothes for children in families in the foster system and did a deep clean of the pantry.
The service project is part of the 2025 National Faith and Blue weekend that started on Friday, Oct. 10. The weekend is about creating stronger communities by connecting law enforcement agencies with local faith-based organizations.
