Reno, NEV — The Nevada State Contractors Board has suspended the license of Uprise, the company at the center of two criminal investigations and a civil lawsuit over $9 million in missing funds.
Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford announced the criminal charges against Uprise owner Stephen Kromer in May. Kromer is charged with 31 felony counts of theft.
