Catasauqua Post Office closure to continue through 2025

CATASAUQUA, Pa. — The Catasauqua Borough Post Office remains closed to the public more than a year after its ceiling collapsed, with federal authorities now projecting construction to last into early summer 2026.

A representative from U.S. Rep. Ryan Mackenzie’s office confirmed that the U.S. Postal Service’s Facilities team plans to begin repairs by the end of November.

“The roof collapse repair project is still ongoing,” his office said. “Construction is estimated to be completed by early summer 2026.”…
