FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A good Samaritan driving a semitrailer stopped on Interstate 469 to help another driver, clogging traffic Tuesday afternoon, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
A public information officer with the department confirmed the semi driver stopped on the interstate near northeast Fort Wayne to help a woman whose car had veered off the road.
Northbound I-469 traffic was stalled starting shortly before 2:30 p.m. near Stellhorn Road and the 23 mile-marker, a Fort Wayne dispatcher confirmed. Cameras from the Indiana Department of Transportation showed the jam extended all the way to New Haven exits…
