WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Eleven members of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps raised 125 American Flags aboard the Battleship North Carolina.
The flag-raising ceremony held on Monday, Oct. 13, was a tribute to American naval heritage in celebration of the U.S. Navy’s 250th anniversary, according to a spokesperson for the Battleship North Carolina Memorial.
