ICE agents stalking Catholics as they go to Mass in Chicago causing residents to form a human chain

Residents of Chicago’s Rogers Park community report Immigration and Customs agents ‘casing’ a Catholic Church over the last week.

One neighbor, named Julie, shared her experience with NBC Chicago. She said that just outside St. Jerome Catholic Church on West Lunt Avenue, she spotted at least four men dressed in camouflage who eventually got in a ‘caravan’ and drove past. She says she told them to “go away.”

According to Telemundo Chicago, parishioners at the church warned mass-goers to be cautious outside, as ICE agents were spotted in the area. “I feel badly for them,” Julie said. “They were inside, scared to come out.”

Residents say that neighbors actually formed a human chain to ensure churchgoers got home safely…
