Clothesline Project returns to Iowa City with survivor-made display at MERGE

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Domestic Violence Intervention Program and the Rape Victim Advocacy Program will host the biannual Clothesline Project on Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. at MERGE, 136 S. Dubuque St.

The free, public exhibit uses hand-decorated T-shirts—created by survivors or by people honoring loved ones, to confront often overlooked realities of domestic and sexual violence.
