GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The 38-year-old Green Bay man charged for alleged involvement in a stabbing outside of a bar on St. Patrick’s Day in 2024 has been ruled ‘incompetent’ to stand trial; however, the case is not over.
Court records show that Darrell McGillivray was in custody while in court on Wednesday morning, as his $20,000 bond continued. McGillivray did not have an attorney with him as his attorney withdrew from the case on July 25, 2025.

A competency report for McGillivray, dated September 30, 2025, was given and the court found him incompetent to proceed with the case; however, it was also ruled that he would regain his competency.
A status conference has been set for November 19 at 2:45 p.m., which will be the 18th separate hearing in this case…
