Current work includes continued grading, limestone placement, and infill along low areas of the property—standard preparation steps ahead of foundation work. Equipment and materials remain active across the 42-acre site, and several portions are taking shape along with drainage improvements.
The Lafayette Buc-ee’s is planned as a 75,000-square-foot travel center—one of the largest—with 120 fueling stations, over 700 parking spaces, and on-site EV charging. The overall project investment remains estimated at $82 million, with approximately $12.5 million allocated to nearby infrastructure improvements such as utilities and road upgrades along East Pont des Mouton Road…
