ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman who was drunk when she crashed and badly injured her young daughter and another person was sentenced to prison on Tuesday afternoon. In court, the father of her injured child talked about his daughter’s injuries.

It was March 30, when Salazar was going more than 97 miles per hour on Unser Blvd., and crashed into someone turning off I-40 onto Unser. The other driver was severely injured, and so was Salazar’s five-year-old daughter. It was the second time in a month that Rebecca Salazar was caught drunk behind the wheel. Both times she blew a .20, two and a half times the legal limit.
She pleaded guilty to child endangerment in exchange for a sentence of four to twelve years in prison…
