Colorado Springs police asking for phone donations for ‘Phone it Forward’

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is asking for the community’s help with a program intended to help survivors of domestic violence.

In the ‘Phone it Forward’ campaign, CSPD says police are collecting old cellphones to give to survivors in an effort to make sure they have a way to reach support and resources.

Police are taking the phones in at all sub stations as well as the operations center on Nevada Avenue…
