Nevada ranks lowest in mental health care as state struggles with youth depression crisis

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The 2025 State of Mental Health in America report places Nevada at the bottom of its list.

The report looked at 17 data points, from how many adults have a mental illness to how many mental health providers are available.

A summary says Nevada has a long way to go with ensuring adults and our youth get the care they need, ranking second to last for how many young people had a major depressive episode, with more than 22%. The national average is a little more than 11%…
