Alaska Pacific University hosts Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebration in Anchorage

The second Monday in October marks Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Alaska, and this year, the celebration was held inside the Moseley Sports Center at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage.

Alaska Natives shared songs and performances to honor their history and the ways they’ve shaped the state.
