DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Google announced a $9 billion investment in Dorchester and Berkeley counties on Monday.
With this investment, Google plans to expand its Berkeley County campus, along with the development of two new data center campuses. In 2024, Google’s investments helped provide more than $6.4 billion for South Carolina businesses, nonprofits, and creators. But there are some concerns about the environmental impact of this expansion.
