First large-scale drone show happening over Grand River for two nights in November

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — For two nights in November, the skies above the Grand River will be lighting up with drones to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States and the U.S. Armed Forces.

This is the first large-scale drone show happening in Grand Rapids. The show—the largest in the region, according to organizers—will celebrate America and its military history with a patriotic theme.

Along with the drone show, there will be an arts and crafts fair for veterans to display their work, live entertainment and local food trucks…
