A Florida physician, 51-year-old Dr. Hao Nhu Tran, was arrested early Saturday morning after police found an unconscious 15-year-old girl who had been drinking alcohol at a party hosted at the doctor’s home.
Winter Park Police were called to the Chestnut Avenue residence around 12:30 a.m. following reports of intoxicated juveniles. Officers found the teen being treated by paramedics before she was transported to AdventHealth Winter Park Hospital.
Dr. Tran told police she hosted a gathering for her son and classmates, but more uninvited teens showed up. While she admitted to seeing some juveniles consuming alcohol and buying food and beverages for the event, she denied supplying the liquor.
