Prosecutors: Lexington gang members charged in murder-for-hire plot to silence witness

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Federal prosecutors said this was no random act of violence; it was a planned hit to silence a witness before he could testify.

Newly accused indictments reveal six Lexington men are accused in the 2023 murder of 28-year-old Kristopher Lewis, a man prosecutors say was cooperating with police and preparing to testify in a federal drug case.

William Quejohn Dixon, Rollie Deshawn Lamar, Daquis Damarr Sharp, Desmond Elijah Bellomy, Jatiece Alvin Parks, and Deangalo Montavius Boone were all indicted on several charges related to the murder of Lewis.

Five of them are charged with witness tampering by killing, conspiracy to commit witness tampering by killing, use of interstate commerce to facilitate murder-for-hire, conspiracy to use interstate commerce to facilitate murder-for-hire, and conspiracy to use a firearm in a violent crime…
