MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a man shot and killed another man who confronted him about an upcoming court appearance in a Facebook live stream.

The victim, Antonio Smith, was found lying in the middle of South Third Street in South Memphis with multiple gunshot wounds and later died at the hospital.
According to police, Elliott Nelson, 50, showed up at Methodist South with a gunshot wound to the thigh and said he shot Nelson after he reached inside his car and hit him. Nelson was charged with second-degree murder.
The shooting happened on Monday in the 2100 block of South Third Street. A witness in the car with Smith said she saw Nelson pull behind them in a turn lane.
She said Smith went live on Facebook, got out of his car, and walked toward Nelson to talk to Nelson about the court appearance. She said a short time later she heard several gunshots, saw Nelson drive off, and Smith on the ground…
