HAWTHORNE – A man was killed and another person was wounded in Hawthorne Wednesday morning, the second fatal shooting in the city in the span of a few days.
Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to assist Hawthorne police after the death was reported at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday in the 14100 block of Doty Avenue, north of Rosecrans Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and age were not immediately available…
